Some donuts in X5 M50i G05

Can't stand the car in comfort mode, very wobbly, high feeling, not stable and the steering is weird. Put in in full Sport+, turn off the DSC and then it makes sense.

Did you press DSC off button once or you pressed and hold DSC off button for 3 seconds and turned all system off? Curious

Lol wow. I had no idea you could get the rear wheels to spin that much, I assumed with the xdrive it wouldn't allow it.

Nice.... didn't think this was possible on the X5.

What suspension does your X5 have since you said it feels high and floaty?

Of course as in you pressed DSC off for 3 seconds to turn all off? Or you did it with just traction off?

Thanks

BMW's xDrive is pretty capable and surprisingly quite easy to let the rear out even in these big vehicles. These SUVs can do a lot more than most would think, I'm sure back in the 90's no one could even imagine doing this without their vehicle falling over!
Even in my son's 15 year old X3 w/ all-season tires, surprisingly it is quite easy to get the rear end to kick out even with DSC on, and with DSC off it can do a lot more than I thought it would, I was quite surprised at its abilities to do donuts.

I'm not surprised that you can get the rear to step out, I am surprised that you can smoke the rear wheels like that though!

Basically everything off in the iDrive and I gotta say this thing rips like an M3 with everything off. Different level, like a sports car in Sport+ but in comfort not my thing... very wobbly.

Impressive. I didn't know you could do that with an X5.

Was this video from a test drive back in April? If so, did you end up getting one?

Looks like the Laguna Hills mall in Mexico. What suspension do you have in your X5? Air or DHP?
