It’s always been stiff (oo er matron) but the other day it stopped working altogether so I took it apart yesterday and found the plastic the spring attaches to had broken so I tried bending the end of the spring back so it hooked round the hole but it snapped!

What I did with mine, instead of bending the metal I just put it through the hole and then zip tied it. Been fine for past two years.
