Low windshield water level
Hi there,
I'm new to the e90post forum, this looks like a very profesional forum. I'm also quite new to the e92 but not to Bmw, I have previously owned a 525i E34 which was a joy to drive and my first Bmw by the way. I currently own a 5/08 325xi e92. I'm not sure if this model is available in the U.S market, it has the new direct inyection 3 litre engine on it. I love it! Very happy with it. The DS steptronic mode is just amazing. I have a small problem with the windshield water level warning...according to the owners book, the capacity is about 6 litre (1,5 gallon I think). The problem is that when there are still 4 litre on it ( 1 gallon more or less) the warning message comes...it's quite annoying. What can be the problem? The level switch, or perhaps a programing issue?? Thanks very much. Best regards. |

They are notorious for going low. You can just keep filling and filling it and it never seems to be full.

Try owning an X3. Right after your first spray, the warning comes up.
