Agree 100%. Don't care for the look of the M8 from any angle, especially the front. The M5 looks so much meaner. Devil's in the details.

Did anyone watch the latest M8 review on Top gear? I don't always agree with their opinions / reviews but I did with their M8 review (it's one of the reason I still love my M5).

M8 looks nice, but doesn't justify the price delta between the two.

M5 also looks better IMO.

That's how I felt. Hard to justify paying way more for the less practical vehicle. 😅

For me, the front of the M5 is beautiful, but the profile and rear of the M8GC look better.

The down-sides for the lower center of gravity of the M8 are too impacting: price position way to high, practicality seriously compromised, don't understand why such a big coupe still looks unbalanced.

Maybe that's why sales is slow?

That's not true. Sales are low because people are buying SUVs and most recently because of the pandemic.

The M8 is a beautiful car. The M5 ain't bad either, but I don't think it's suprising that people on an M5 owner's forum claim the M5 is a better looking car. A large four door sedan big enough to look like a 7 series and is about a half gen behind in BMW styling compared to the 8 is the better looking car. sure sure

Driver error in the M5. He couldn't launch properly.
