Trunk rubber plug missing??

Hey everyone,

I was taking some things out of my trunk today and noticed that I was missing this rubber plug type thing that sits on the back part of my trunk. (See pictures) Does anyone know what the name of this is or part number? Has anyone had these missing before and is there any issues driving without it before I go to dealer.

Do you think dealer will replace as I it just fell off and cannot be found? I have no idea how it could have fallen off as the other one is on there quite well and it took a bit just to try to take it off.

Thanks everyone

One of my plugs fell off as well as I was wiping down the trunk area after washing the car.
I just stuck it back on, but it never felt like it was securely attached.
I expect it would fall off again if I brushed against it.
I wonder if there is any glue or epoxy that would secure these plugs better?

Is your tailgate rattling as a result of this bump stop missing?

Good question, I dont notice a specific rattle from the trunk tho I am suffering with the dreaded panoramic roof rattle and have been putting off taking it to the shop due to the pandemic and driving much less recently. I have noticed that my rattling in the interior seems to have gotten louder but the majority will go away if I tilt or open my moon roof.

blind plug, should be one of these, check the diameter of the existing one, or take the exiting one to local warehouse to see if they have similar.

None of these will fit.

The correct PN is 51247453842 for the bumper.
