Hey everyone,

Just wondering if you guys have gotten aftermarket wheels for your X3 and if so what do you recommend and pics??

I currently have the 19 inch set up which is helpful in the rough roads but kinda disappointed by how skinny the 245 rears look.

Looking to probably go for 20's but with wider wheel for a more aggressive look.

In my honest opinion, the factory fitted 21” 718M wheels look better than anything I’ve seen on the X3.

They’re a beautiful wheel, it’s just a shame that tyres are so limited for them.

I feel the 699M wheels look much better than the 718M. The 726I is the best looking wheel for the X3 but wasn't an option when I got my X3. When I was in the market for an X3, the 699M wheel option was a must-have dealbreaker.

I don't see how getting OEM BMW wheels on a bigger size is a upgrade. But thats just me. After the Rona is over Im going to go from the stock 19" to 20". I definitely want to go a little bit wider and lightweight.

Wheels are a very personal thing. I too prefer 699M vs 718M, I downspecc’d to 699M but in part that was to get non-RFTs too. 718M look technical vs 699M which are elegant to my eye. Whether I’d have stayed with 718M if non-RFT had been available is hard to say. 21s are that bit nicer than 20s. I’m really pleased though to get away from RFTs after 11 years with them.

I really have a dislike for the 726i option - actively avoided cars with these whilst looking for mine (not that there are many out there anyway).
With hindsight I should have bought a car with them on and swapped them over for something else with some money left over £
