H&R sport or H&R super sport on F36 X-drive
Can somebody help me please?
I have a 435d xdrive with Eibach springs fitted. I want more of a drop so I'm looking into H&R springs. H&R don't list springs, either sport or super sport for my car on their website. Does anybody know the H&R part number for the correct kit that will fit my car please? Sport & super sport if possible please? What are you guys running? Has anybody had success fitting 28877-2 or 28878-5 |

Took me a while to find their full product catalogue as well but it's here
http://web1.carparts-cat.com/default...004&12=100 Looks like 28878-4 and 28878-5 are for the 435dx can't see what the difference is at a quick glance though |

You can see what the difference is by looking at the PN listings here and then looking at the TUV documentation on page 3 where it lists the spring dimensions. In particular match the axle load ratings of the spring PN to those listed under the spring type in the TUV doc.
What should be apparent from that, is that H&R has the same spring rate for the front if you have the type I or type II front spring, and that they only vary the height via length of the spring. If you have a type III front spring, the rate is higher than I and II due to the thicker coil. In the rear once again there's no spring rate change between the any of the springs they offer and they only compensate for different models' weights via spring length.
