Installed: TSW Sprint 20" wheels and DWS06 Conti
I hadn't seen any reports of this wheel on the G01, but I liked the specs and the look so I thought I'd give them a shot. TSW Sprint in Gloss Gunmetal - 20x8.5 5x112 ET20. I went 8.5" wide because I wanted a square setup, didn't want wider than the stock 718s in front, wanted something that pushed the stance out a bit (10mm farther out than stock) and wanted to keep them fairly light. Then I went with a 255/45/20 to give me a touch more protection for the rims. If you go 245/45/20 you can save another 3lbs per corner according to TireRack. As is, these are 58.6lbs mounted. The stock 718m were 61.6 and 67.6 F and R.
Overall I'm very happy with the look and ride. In all of the stock photos of them I somehow failed to notice the "slots" in the spokes. I'd probably prefer the look without them, but I think they still look good. Couple other notes: discounttiredirect.com had the best price I found between bbwheels and 1010tires for everything mounted, balanced, and shipped with TPMS, hub centric rings, and black lug bolts. Also, the HUF UVS4040 TPMS sensors they use must be programmed to the vehicle, which my dealer did while coding my tow hitch. They also have an RDE077 or something like that which will allow the stock TPMS reset to work without coding. Last edited by Tronner; 04-09-2020 at 11:01 AM.. |

I think that's a very nice looking square setup. Not an expert, but the staggered setups seem so much less practical. I like the adaptation you've made to the stance. I agree the slots are a bit of an oddity, but I doubt you see them unless you get right up close.

Tronner, looks awesome! The spoke cut outs are a neat touch, lighter weight.
How are you liking the setup, everything holding up ok? I found these wheels separately, and google pointed me back to this post, haha. Figured I'd get your thoughts after having them on for a few months. |

Looks great! I'm enjoying my TSW wheels too...I went with 20" staggered Pescara in gloss black and Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires...all worked out nicely.
Your M40i looks awesome love the blue! I like the wheel slots too...a lightweight detail that makes it interesting. |
