Can someone explain...?
I just went over the article about real horsepower of Nissan GT-R in C&D, and what they mentioned is that drivetrain loss for RWD manual is about 15%, but for 4-wheel-drive vehicles it's about 20%. How is that? I always thought that for 4-whell-drive there is almost no drivetrain loss. Was I wrong?

AWD drivetrains inherently create more drag due to the added moving parts causing additional friction and resistance.

Ok, then another stupid question from me: if awd's drivetrain loss is bigger then how come they are considered faster (or quicker?) if they get less power to the wheels (considering the crank HP is the same as RWD)?
