335i production dates

I am buying an 2008 335i Sedan. Some dealers have older production ones (Jan) and some newer (July). Do you think it's a bad idea to get older ones such as Jan 2008 production date?

No, I don't think so. In fact, it may be a good idea. I don't know if you have read about the alleged turbo lag with newer 335 software, but a Jan 08 production date is probably old enough to have the pre 29.2 software (which is a good thing).

Does anyone know what month they started using 29.2 in production??
