Why do you want a turbo blanket?

For me, controlling the under hood and IATs is always something I'm trying to improve. It's hot and humid (94 degrees last weekend) most of the year in Tampa. I'm also looking for a heat extractor hood if one exists.

The way the turbo is designed integrated into the exhaust manifold will pretty hard finding a blanket to fit. Your best bet is to heat wrap the down-pipe and that should help a little since it's still exposed to the engine bay.

I've had this car since November but come summer time and getting a tune I imagine it will be a factor. we'll see.

If I wasn't so impatient I would've ceramic coated my dp before installing it. Maybe I will go back with some DEI titanium wrap on the upper half.

Intake is sucking in a lot of hot air and there isn't really a heat shield or anything currently in my engine bay to stop the heat from the turbo and downpipe.

Well not to be a dick about it but the stock intake is a sealed system that sucks air from the front kidney grilles/vents...

I have an aftermarket burger intake that doesn't have a heatshield, that is what is creating the issue here.

Right no I assumed that was the case, I should have been clearer with what I said. Im just suggesting that you use the stock air box with it's sealed design...

Honestly, I thought that by a turbo blanket you mean a blanket with a print on it. Like the one in the picture. I wanted to recommend you to get a weighted blanket uk instead of a regular one. But later I googled what you’ve meant by a turbo blanket. Honestly, I never heard of this thing before. I checked a few stores, and I still do not get what’s the point of that blanket. Besides, I think that the heat generated by a turbo blanket might cause serious damage to the turbocharger. Can someone explain to me please, what’s the point of getting them? Maybe, I should start looking for one too.
