New Color Combo for your approval?
I have been agonizing over color combos, trying to decide between jetblack/black dakota or Monaco/black dakota. I stumbled on this and would like to know your opinion: TiAg with black dakota/aluminum trim and with shadowline!

I vote against TiAg, mostly for how common it is everywhere, on every car these days.
Black on black is a classic combo, and I have it myself (Black sapphire, though) And Monaco is unique, and looks nice in the right light, so that's nice too - although I think Monaco works better with a lighter interior.

Black on black is unpractical, car looks dirty 50% of the time. Unless of course you know for a fact you are going to wash it often

Silver on Black looks sharp and sporty. (Thats what my B7 A4 was) I wouldnt get Monaco on black. If you are going with that color get saddle or beige IMO

Seriously? You're agonizing over the most common color combo on the road?
Anyway, you can't lose dude. If you're having this much trouble deciding between your options, you're color-chooser's-remorse won't be so intense. The aero lip/shadowline/230-style wheels are great choices. |

Go with what pleases you the most, man!
Any color combo that I originally didn't like when I ordered mine, just look as good as anything else when seen in real, for example, Barbera red was one color I did not like really in the beginning, but when I saw one in real with a beige interior, it just looked beautiful... |

colour combo
great colour combo man....in toronto it's not that common on e92s......and even if it is where u are, everytime you saw one on the road, did you think to yourself, "oh, what a moron, dude got the most common colour combo", or did you think, "man, that looks sick...what a beautiful car...."??? I would think somewhere closer to the latter....in that case, you are now going to be one of those dudes......someone else will see you driving and think, "damn, what a beautiful car....". I think all of the lighter colours show the lines of this car really well....I don't personally like the blues, cause they're too boyish for my liking.....platinum bronze is for geriatric drivers.....God bless'em.......just my humble opinion. Congrats man! you're gonna LOVE driving this mofo....love it....

silver cars look cheap and ugly. black might be a little harder to keep clean but looks clean at night no matter wat .. either way you are buying a 40-50k car... probably gunna be taking good care of it? go for the black all the way

You can never go wrong with TiAg/Black, but as others have chimed, its pretty middle of the road.
Try TiAg/Coral/Alu, Monaco/Saddle, Space Grey/Saddle, Black Sapphire/Saddle or Jade Grey.

Go for it! Too many people have black. Silver is a neutral color so you can't go wrong with this choice.

Isn't asking someone ELSE'S opinion on the best color combos similar to asking what the best ice cream flavor is at Baskin Robbins? Everyone has a different idea of the perfect combination.
Imo, go to as many dealers as you can, walk their lots and showrooms and see what is out there. In Pittsburgh, there are three dealers and you can get a huge visual presentation by putting a few miles of driving in. For instance, lots of owners love the look of a black car. As a 14 year owner of a black-on-black car, I vowed to never own one again. Can't keep them clean; the first five minutes you drive one when it snows causes them to look like sh#$; climb in one in August after two hours in the sun . |

Looks like my last car - it is the BMW color combo that looks great on almost every BMW and has been a combo since BMW built airplanes - looks great, guess that is why everyone has it!

See the color combo in the web link in my signature. You'll know where my vote is.
