328d xDrive - Just checking before I order brake pads

My new to me 2016 328d xDrive Wagon needs new rear brake pads, so I’m planning to order all four. Before doing so, I wanted to double check, are there only two possibilities for brakes, base and M-sport? I want to be sure I order the right ones. I presume I have base. (Photo attached)

Also, are there any tricks to replacing brake pads on this car or is it pretty similar to other cars? Do the rear calipers have integrated parking brakes? I have a kit for screwing in the piston.

Thanks,
Scott

I just did rears on a 2013 328 and it was very straightforward. You don't need a tool to push the piston back (c-clamp will do and the parking brake isn't integrated. It took me a little over an hour to do both sides (pads and rotors) and I took my time and cleaned up the calipers really good with a wire brush before I put everything back together. I also found online that BMW doesn't want to you lube the slide pins upon reassembly.

Today I have replaced my rear brake pads (non M brakes) and I have installed Brembo P 06 071, got them for under 40$ on Amazon.

Soon I will have to change front pads as well.

P.S You don't need to replace brake pad sensor if it didn't throw and light on dash.
Today I have reset millage on the rear pads before replacing them and used same sensor and everything is working just fine.
I replace sensor only if it gives me light on the dash, bcs once it gives you warning light it must be replaced.

Great! Thanks, guys. That’s very helpful. It has not thrown a light yet. My daughter actually was riding in the back seat and noticed a little brake noise, so I inspected and found they needed replacing.

Maybe that's why mine rusted in place at 11,000 miles.
When I replaced my pads I lubed the contact points between the pads and carriers the same as I have for 50 years.

If it hasn't thrown a light yet you might be able to get away with reusing the brake wear sensor!

If it hasn't tripped the old sensor is fine. You can't use one that has tripped because when it trips the contacts that make it work are literally destroyed.
