Adding in new eBay Key Fob, not Comfort Access

I have one key fob that is not working even after replacing battery twice. The other works with same replacement battery. Must be from being washed? It still starts the car in slot.

Anyway, I saw new virgin fobs on Amazon and eBay. What do I need to do after buying a virgin fob from China?
How much should I pay the local Smith?

Thanks. Found a guy on FB who will take one key, CAS module in mail and return a working key and fob for $125+ shipping. He can program it to position 7
