The quad tips look great!

Did you retain the stock muffler with the new tips? Can you show an underside photo of how the tips connect to the muffler? Thanks!

Rear diffuser of an X4M is completely different. it will not work.

Okay, so, i'll give the details of my wife's X4m40i

The tips are ebay carbon quad tip replicas. However, the quality is top notch and the work didn't take long at all. Here's the important part though... You have to buy size "63mm/2.5in". It'll require some cutting and welding but all-in-all, it took a little less than 2 hours. Total cost of the tips were $121 dollars shipped, and labor was $128.

Most of the stuff on our vehicles is unfortunately Chinese sourced....the trick is finding the stuff made in the same factory as the OEM (often junk itself) product......Almost every bit of BMW plastic has a Made in China stamp..

Any photos of the underside of the car? Is there no way for these to slip on rather than having to be welded?

Hey all,

Sorry for the late reply. Here are some pics from underneath the car/Exhaust tips and the link for the tips that I ordered off ebay. Size for the tips that I ordered are 63mm/2.5 inches. Hope this helps. =)

https://www.ebay.com/itm/1Pcs-Dual-P...72.m2749.l2649

*Important thing to remember*
When welding on the tips, you have to saw off roughly 1.5-2 inches off the tips and weld it on to the stock exhaust pipes.
