USPS forwarded my M3 steering wheel....What to do
Ordered the new M3 steering wheel from qalbeli on ebay and gave him the correct shipping address and everything. Noticed today that the online tracking info said they package was forwarded (i guess back to the sender) because the address or zip was wrong. Now i checked the zip code he sent it to and it is correct...i live in Auburn, which uses either 36830 or 36832 as its zip, and ive had packages sent to both before and never had a problem like this, so im confused now.
This just happened earlier today, so do you think i can go to the USPS store and tell them to not send it back to the sender and let them know the mistake, and reschedule delivery or something. The last thing i want is for it to be sent all the way back overseas through customs and then resent back to me. No way should i wait that long! What can i do?? |

You should contact qalbeli and your local post office.
When I got me steering wheel from him, I had to pick it up at the post office. No idea why, I was home and postman never attempted to leave the package at my house, just a note.

I know how their mail systems work...most of it is a bit archaic (circa 1980s) at the moment and are in the slow process of being updated. |

USPS may be slow in tracking, but they sure are fast in shipping!

No way they are always slow. I think you got that mixed with UPS. USPS damn slow. I think just because they are part of the gov. they can do as they please like raise the stamps price when ever they feel like it.

I agree, but only if you pick Priority or better. If not, who knows where your mail is. By the way USPS tracking is crap. Also with UPS, from my experience, they usually guarantee your package to arrive in five days no more or no less. Meaning they wont deliver the package early even if its already in your town.

Good news. Went to the post office this morning and had them check for my package. After 10 minutes of searching in the back, THEY FOUND IT. ALready have opened it up and the wheel looks perfect. Packing was pretty good too. Now, i am just waiting for my ///M trim to arrive so i can install this puppy |
