E90 most popular BMW?
Hey guys, judging from what I see on the streets, do you think that the e90 is the most popular BMW that they ever made? I mean there are so many on the streets, I think they might become one of BMW's best sellers ever. What do you guys think?

The reason you noticed all of the E90s out there is because you own an E90 as well. |

the 3 series will forever be a best seller. But for now i think the e46 is more common just because it was out for 6 years while the e90 has only been out 2

Eventually, the E90 will outpace the E36 and 46. At this point there still haven't even been as many units sold of the E90 as the E30 due to time...

But you are right the 3-series is the best selling series and their are probably more e46 4-doors out their then e90's for now.

I'm completely serious. No BMW will probably sell as well as the Isetta did.

[QUOTE=EK_335i;3298854]Not to get to technical but the e90 has been out 3 years (06,07,08). 09 is going to be the 4th year.
'09 will be the 5th year internationally as it was introduced as an '05 model in Europe... Remember they were going to call it the 4 series

In my opinion, the E90 328i's are the most popular BMW's here in Edmonton.
And this is no offense to anyone who drives a 328, but of the people I know who have 328's, they buy them completely bare and it's mostly just for the badge. We also have 323's in Canada too which are weak and a lot of people buy those for the badge too. From what I've heard talking to some local dealers, the 328's are the most popular because people want the BMW badge without having the shell out the cash for the twin turbo. If anyone else is from Edmonton, would you agree with me on this? (I HARDLY see a 335 on the streets now when compared to 328's). |

wrong way to compare, E46 started in what, 1999? E90 2006? well how many E46's were on the road by 2003 compared to how many E90's on the road today.
Remember most E46ers probably ugraded to E90, so thats why it seems as if there are more E90s than E46

well I don' t know about the US, but here in Europe it isn' t looking too good. The rear of the car pissed everyone off (journos and customers) and to me it looks like the car certainly isn' t the best ever selling beemer as I don' t see that many of them. But then those are just impressions.

I miss my E46! For long distance driving it was more comfortable than my E90. If I could have stuck the twin turbo engine into my E46, I would have kept it.
