Introduction
Hello e90post,
I would like to start out by saying that although this is my first post; I have been lurking through this forum for quite some time now. For me the quest of purchasing my 335i had begun once my lease had ended for my c-class. Bombarded by the number of magnificent cars available in today's automobile market, my initial response to shopping was confusion. I had set some limits to make my purchase smoother. Some examples of the limits I set were regarding the topics of price, practicality and performance. With countless hours of research I had narrowed my decision to 3 cars: e92 335i, G37s, A5. Picking one car out of those three was one of the hardest decisions I have made in my entire life. After examining each car in person, front to back and interior to exterior, I had narrowed my decision down to the A5 with the s package and the e92 335i. Though the G37s is a wonderful car, the exterior wasn't really my cup of tea. I must admit I found the G37s's interior to be more appealing than the 335i, but the overall quality of the material used in the interior (wood trim, leather, plastic etc) seemed to be better in the BMW. After appearance were decided, on my next action was a test drive. Being stressed by making the right decision, I test drove the cars numerous times starting off driving easy and then pushing the cars to their limits. I was happy with the performance and especially handling of the Audi but blown away by the power of the 335i. It was a tough decision to make between the two and in the end I chose the 335i. The next day I put an order in and just got the car recently. I am very pleased with the car and I am confident that I have made the right decision. Also, I would like to thank all the members on this forum since you were a big influence in my decision. I would like to introduce "Lisa" to all you guys: I had ordered a bunch of mods before I got the car. Sitting around at home I have the aero lip, the JB3, BMS air filter, GP thunders, UR catless dps with the O2 sims, Millteck cat back exhaust, Painted reflectors, V1 (to hardwire), custom shift knob, LED side turn signals and Iforged essens gunmetal. Once I feel that I am satisfied with my stock BMW driving experience I will let the modding begin. |

Great choice. If you liked the 335 stock, well, after you have finished your mods why don't you take the nice Audi sales rep for a test drive?
