"PROJEK-S" Nitto Invo Tire Review

Nitto Invo Tire Review:

Size: 245/35/19 ; 275/30/19

Wheels: DPE S-7 19x8.5 Front, 19x10 Rear

Suspension: KW V2 with 13 clicks (18 is the hardest)

Miles driven on tires: 1000 miles

Farthest trip: LA -> Las Vegas

Driving condition: Combined Highway/City

Driving style: Spirited daily drive

I recently got a chance to pick up a set of Nitto Invo ultra-high performance street tires for my DPE wheels. After putting it on, I immediately felt the increased performance at cornering in comparison to the stock run flats. I was able to push 80 mph on 40 mph large turn confidently with the feeling of the “soft rubber grip”. Yes! I can feel the responses from the road clearly and it makes me want to go faster, but of course in consideration of my own and other drivers’ safety, 80 mph would be the fastest I would go for that turn.

After reading my thread (http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=164987) some people suspicious that I have the wrong tire size for the front, it is because the shape of the tire is a little squarer than Falken 452 and Toyo T1R. (I would say the shape is very similar to Toyo Proxes R888). I personally like the shape of the tires since this gives you better contact to the road when cornering and with the variable pitch technology, it reduces perceived road noise for a more comfortable ride comparing to the Proxes R888.

Another thing I like about these tires is the non-directional design allows me to rotate them on my staggered fitments every 3000 miles. The freedom of rotation really means a lot to me, since I am running on DPEs with a little toe in and slightly negative camber. Being able to rotate my tires helps reduce abnormal wear.

In conclusion, I highly recommend the Nitto Invos to you guys, if any of you local guys would like to check them out and do a test drive, please feel free to PM me.
