EGR Commander vs Actual. High EGR error.
Can someone with N47 or N57 with a scantool please graph EGR Actual vs Commander with percent error? I am using the app called Car Scanner with BT OBDII. My EGR Actual is always about 10% higher. I don't know what my original EGR did before it threw a code and was replaced, but this one seems to have EGR percent error anywhere from 20% up to 99%. I noticed that when EGR is at 99% error, the car runs rough. So either EGR replacement is defective or some component responsible for EGR is on its way out.

These uploaded images have terrible quality.
Red line is Commander EGR Duty (at reporting time is 7%), Green line is Actual EGR (15%). Blue line represents EGR Error (99%). |

Here's mine. Taken from a cold start after car was sitting in my garage for 2 days. I started logging about 2-3 mins after I started the car, so excuse the lapse in data. Error hovers around 35-40%, after I revved the engine to around 3k RPM, it stabilized and never hit 40% error again. About 7 mins was captured in the chart.
Side note, I didnt realize VCDS had generic OBDII features!
