TINT and Comfort access question

does having tints affect the comfort access in terms of the Comfort access not always working.. or like lagging. I find myself at my car door and just standing there with my key hanging from my jeans and it doesnt work

if your tint has metallic in it, it can affect your CA. I have a pretty dark tint on my car (20%) and my CA works just fine.

If your tint doesn't have metallic in it, it could just be the battery in your fob??

Here's what I have been told by BMW and tint shops. If you get the medal flakes in your tint your CA will not work right. The metal will interfear with signal. Some shops will make you sign a statement, saying you have been told. If you search the fourm you will find alot of info on this

ooh ite thanks a lot. ya i dnt have the metallic tint. i have 5% tints. ill try to replace the battery of the key fob. thanks a lot

i had 20% tint on my last BMW and my comfort access worked fine.
