Hi guys. I was wondering if i can fit usb socket under armrest in my 2010 e90. I have CiC business navi with aux under armrest bluetooth just for calling and receiving calls. I saw in some other e90s that they have usb socket next to the aux. So, thanks guys.

usb and bluetooth are handled by modules in the trunk.
(at least in the US they are)
You need to find out which module you have .
If you have a combox you need some cables and programming.
Same for a mulf 2 hi . Sometimes the Mulf 2 Hi is found underneath
the TCU module.

Programming for these modules and your cic is necessary to activate
the function.

modules. I think its number 3 in the list.
Running your vin through a vin checker such as mdecoder.com
can sometimes tell you if you have a combox.

I don't think i have combox. How can I see if i have mulf 2 hi or tcu?

The modules are in the same location as the TCU in the above document.

So, no mulf, no combox, just tcu. And base audio system. Is it even possible to install usb socket for playing music?

if you replace tcu with combox you will get usb audio and bluetooth streaming

I believe you have to have a certain level of the idrive
to make bluetooth streaming work with a combox.

You will also need coding and with an Icom cable
for Most Bus modules and the head unit.
