Power Supply Unit for flashing
Is anyone here using switch mode variable power supply units, like for HAM CB radios?
The schumacher or gysflash are just too expensive for my amateur usage, and I see these PSU are available to buy with 60/65A continues power supply at whatever voltage you decide to use at a fraction of the price! Has anyone here used them for charging or flashing? thanks https://www.moonraker.eu/amateur-rad...p-power-supply |

I have been using the older North American version of this CTEK unit (with a power supply mode). No problem flashing an ID5/6 EVO HU the slow way (using CAN bus for 72hrs).

I did a full i-step update with my car jumped to a running X5, no issues. FYI
