Liquid under hood

Anyone know what fluid in our e90 has the color fuschia? The reason I ask is because I found this on the under side of the hood...something leaking maybe? Damn, I don't need any more problem.

All the washer fluids I've seen were colored blue. Maybe this is leak-detection fluid / oil from the A/C.

+2 Mine too. One evening shine an ultraviolet light on it and see if the spots glow.

I believed that this is my washer fluid, I did use the washer during a long trip last month. I also looked very closely at the connector for the washer and there seems to be build-up residue of this colored fluid around the connectors.

Are you sure - I checked my headlight fluid and it was pretty close to that color also!

Maybe get your car repainted Barbera red so you don't have worries like this anymore.

I am not too concern now (knock on wood), overtime debris will turn those spots to a black color.

What you want me to replace tjnptel1? the connector, or the hose? Honestly I don't think there is a leak at the connector or a bad hose, just too much over spray causes the fluid to drip down the windshield and into the hood (my theory at least).

maybe the tires switched around, the left got in the right and the back got in the front while putting a second transmission and left a mess behind
