Wire that controls Gong on 2011 LCI e90 with HiFi

I'm wondering if there is a wire on the radio harness that controls the gongs (seat belt, doors, TPMS failure, temperature, etc). If possible, i'd like to cut this since the gongs are starting to drive me crazy.

I pulled the radio out the other day and took photos - i can post if needed. In looking up the radio diagrams, I've found the speaker (pre-amp) outputs, but there are about 4 to 5 other wires on pins 9-16 that I cannot find what they do. I'm hoping 1 is the gong signal that can be snipped.

Anyone here know?

I believe its comes over the bus and is not a single wire.
Can bus(you wouldn't want to cut that)
Gongs can be modified in software some of them like
the seatbelt or key still in slot with door open can be turned
off with software changes.
See the coding sub forum.

Get a coding cable and downloads from Bimmergeek.net or there
Pro Tool for a phone .
The Pro Tool has canned routines that can do this stuff and is easy to use
the coding cable and downloads are more powerful but require
effort and some tech abiltiy to setup and use.(on a PC)

Go to the e9x code list tab on the Excel page the above link opens
to see the possibility's.

If you live at the Summit don't set up self locking unless you want to
freeze waiting for the locksmith.

The coding sub forums have DIY's for most of this stuff.

If you don't want to deal with doing this yourself see if you can
find a coder to do it for you .

Thanks, good advice.
I bought the k+dcan cable a year or so ago, but haven't done much else because my only laptop is a work one that I can't install software on. I should just buy an old pc on eBay and take a crack at it. Anyone know someone in Denver area that I could bribe with beer for either some coding or tutorials if I get my own?

Cheers!

If you are going to look for coders you should to it on the coding
sub forum.
Those links I gave you have plenty of downloads and tutorials
on how to code.
