50k miles on my xdrive 2016 340i, second owner.
I'm taking her in for 12 hours of work including clutch replacement, spark plugs, downpipe, hawk 5.0 pads, etc. I'm looking at the few options available for rotors, and besides plain oe ones I'm finding: -front stoptech cross drilled and slotted rotors (front only) for around 360 a pair -front ecs brand slotted and drilled for around 350 -slotted stoptech rotors for about 320 a pair -REAR ONLY (they dont make a 340x30 front yet) hawk talon cross drilled for 220 a pair -if I dont want to "cross brand" (which I dont care) then I'd have to spent around 320 for a rear pair of matching stoptechs. so what the hell is everyone running on theirs since there are so few options, and I'm really trying to stay SUB 600 because of how big of a repair bill I'm racking up. -i have the upgraded silver breaks (P337A or whatever the code is), not the m sport brakes -xdrive any suggestions or what you're running please let me know! I'm trying to figure this out this weekend. |

I and many others use Zimmerman blank rotors, they are OEM for BMW.
