Changing bluetooth song "Not possible"

After getting NBT retrofitted, I'm having this problem. I can see the radio stations in the small screen and change them with the scroll wheel on the steering wheel no problem, but when changing to bluetooth/Spotify on my phone, it just displays "Not possible" in the small screen, and I can't change song or anything with the scroll wheel. What could the problem be?

I think it is just an issue with the software not cooperating with spotify.

I have the same issue and can scroll through/select songs if I am in apple music.

You are right, I tried with Google Music, and it works perfectly.
