57 plate 320d sport touring
57 plate
Auto 15k miles Silver Blackline rear lights Privacy Glass Bluetooth Blackout grille Genuine M3 wheels with brand new tyres fitted 2 weeks ago (cost online discounted £2400) Also has a Sony Nav system hard wired in (it is a very neat install that can be removed completely in 10 seconds) Also has a Spider tuning box, for approx. 205bhp. The Nav... This is the screen removed, all wires are connected to the bracket so it is very neat.. The bracket can come off and there is a single connector that unplugs so the whole thing can come away in 10 seconds if needed. £21,950 no offers. I also have the complete nav professional retrofit kit as well, which I could put in and code up for £1000. Can also put you in touch with someone who can set up finance, alot cheaper than BMW and a far better package that is not front loaded!! Last edited by gIzzE; 09-05-2008 at 04:35 PM.. |

I bought a Merc E320 7 seater estate the other day, needed the space for the new baby buggy, dog, my teenage daughter and her friends and all the other crap that you need to transport around.
I will only use the BMW when there is just me or me so going to have a change from the touring. Not sure what to get as yet. |

Well I was offered £400 for the amp, cables and subs, but they guy said he wants to collect the car tomorrow and I won't have time to take them out.
The buyer likes the M3 wheels, blackline grille and rear lights so can't take that out. |

I have the following parts for sale and this is what I paid for them. Professional nav CCC £520 I drive controller £80 CCC fan and cable £45 8.8" Monitor £350 Trim for climate relocation £20 Trim for going round the CCC £30 Centre console gear surround trim (this is in matt black ala new M3 so matches any other trim) £100 Dashboard £350 (this is plain black and will fit the saloon, coupe, touring and cab) One cable made up that just require crimping into 4 wires on the back of the radio harness. I guess I would take a grand for the lot, it is all tested and up to date. A local garage with Autologic will code your car, it will work straight away, but once coded you will get set up features via the nav instead of the stalk and at that point any updates done at BMW will update your nav too. Car Now Sold!! Going next week and I am going to really miss it. More so than any other car I have owned, other than the CSL. Funnily enough the guy is going from an 57 plate E92 M3, says it is a great car but once the novelty wears off the £75 every 180 miles starts to wear thin. |

So what was the one downfall ? Didn't quite get it, and you know someone who would install it in London for reasonable pricing ?
Think I might take you up on it if it will all fit straight into my E92 without much hassle. |

You need to call a normal stereo shop or even garage and ask them if they will replace a dash, BMW quite 2 hours to remove and replace the dash, it is only held on with 5 bolts and is designed to be changed quickly as it needs to be replaced when the airbags are activated, hence why it is only £350 too.
That is all there is to it really. the rest is self explanatory apart from hooking into the power and can bus for the monitor and idrive controller, but I can give you the pins these need to go to. You north, east, south or west London mate?? |

Yeah it will give you full professional nav.
The reason I asked where you were is you really need to get the car coded, someone I know is just outside, just by the M25/M1 junction, he knows exactly what he is doing. He may be able to install the thing too. I would guess you are looking at 4 hours in total install time including coding. |

I will ask him today if he is interested in doing the dash swap.
I was offered £1500 more for my car trade with the nav fitted, and they said they would sell the car themselves with nav where as without it they would trade it on to someone else. I was quite shocked that it added that much, thought it would be more like a grand, but he said it added a grand to cars that are 3-5 years old, on a year old one it was getting classed as essential. |
