Love, Love, LOVE this car (SAV?)!!!! It is the most awesome vehicle I have ever owned. My last vehicles were purchased in 2005 (BMW M3) and 2007 (Nissan Armada)....wow things have gotten better and more advanced!

I actually picked up my X3MC the weekend before Christmas, but just posting photos now picking up from the PPF shop on my birthday

I had PPF installed on the front (bumper, hood, fenders, head lamps, and mirrors), Ceramic Coating on the entire car, and the front windows tinted 20%.

It took a week to complete the job. The shop I used was Tinting Motors in Farmingdale, NY (Long Island). Although expensive (!), their prices were in line or better than other shops and they had a ton of positive online reviews.

I couldn’t be happier with the work and the friendly and professional manner with which Romi, the owner, treated me and my new BMW. I’m letting it cure for another week before I start really driving – at least it’s home now!

I love that color! Sweet ride! That was my 2nd color choice for the X4MC, but I ended up going with toronto red.

No plans to modify the wheels. Do people do that? What’s the advantage?

They put the ceramic coating on the surface of the wheels as part of the package. I could have upgraded where they take the wheels off and do the entire wheel, calipers, and wheel wells but I have already spent way more than I planned. Hope the surface coat keeps down the dust which is rampant on BMWs.

I also got a set of winter wheels and tires - I’ll make a new thread about that as I installed when I got home from the PPF shop.

No M seatbelts...

I ordered the same interior (LOOKS GREAT!) but insisted on making sure it came with the M belts. Sometimes it's the little things... (we'll see, should receive before the end of the month.)

I was t even aware of the M belts when I ordered but kinda bummed now. How are you able to specify in your build?

Actually I think belts that match the yellow (aka beige) color would have looked hot.

I lost the tire lotto too - but the Contis seem fine. I’m 0-2 in that game with the same result on my 2005 M3

People do that to protect the wheels or to change the color. I have a sapphire black X3, so I’m thinking about powder coating the wheels black. I only asked because you tinted the windows. I thought you’re maybe planning to “black out” your car.
