Can this be coded or is there an existing setting even so that once I jump in my car and start it up that the sports display screen automatically opens without having to click into it. On my car it reverts back to the menu once the engine is shut off and restarted and I need to re-enter into it to get the power and torque dials on the idrive

This is not possible.
But you can put the function on a shortcut key, then one key press is enough.
