ASD using bimmercode

I downloaded the bimmercode APP purchased the Veepeak obd. Purchased the full version

When I plug in. There is no option for ASD. Actually on all 3 of my BMWs. 2018 and newer

Thoughts or any kind of help would be great

I thought ASD was the first module listed.

Have you looked in expert mode?

Not sure where to look in expert mode. Weird that it’s not on all 3 of my cars. Maybe Veepeak obd not working correctly

It is the first one on the list. No expert mode required. You should be seeing it as a module already at the beginning, before you can even select expert mode (since you can only do that within a controller).

It's not just a coding item, it requires the ASD module. If you don't have the module you don't have ASD.

Most (recent) BMWs do have it. And he has 3 available!
What are the chances that neither has ASD...

I don't have an ASD module. If I did I'd disable it.
OP, the OBD wouldn't affect the ability of Bimmercode to find the ASD module. Most of us use the Veepeak out of necessity, many other adapters that used to work with Bimmercode don't any more.

To the best of my knowledge it is (unfortunately) standard equipment, at least on European vehicles. But even here, most people report having it.

what type of cars are you trying it on? As only 335xd, 340i and M3's have ASD module?

If you dont have the above, sounds like your out of luck!

Besides that, ASD is not at all limited just to the above mentioned configs. I found out about the existence of this ridiculous device whilst test-driving a 428i. I was overwhelmed by a dominant and very obviously unrealistic (for the engine) sound so it made me curious.

yep sorry..

Meant 3.0d/3.0i really. In my experience, most of the those engined cars will have it, but not all..
