hey do i was trying make my tali light LED operate as my turning signal vs the bulb that comes stock.

Please follow these Steps very carefully:
1. PlugIn your OBD reader and connect Bimmercode
2. Go to REM (Rear Electronic Module)
3. Go to EXPERT MODE - Click Continue on the warning message
4. In Search field - type in MAPPING

You should see all the Mapping configs now. Now this is where you will do your coding. Follow the step-by-step coding from below. Change the config/values for each of these settings.

MAPPING_TAGFAHRL_H2_L_OUTPUT - sl_2_l
MAPPING_TAGFAHRL_H2_L_FUNCTION - Value 0x06
MAPPING_TAGFAHRL_H2_L_PRIORITY - Priority 1

MAPPING_TAGFAHRL_H2_R_OUTPUT - sl_2_r
MAPPING_TAGFAHRL_H2_R_FUNCTION - Value 0x07
MAPPING_TAGFAHRL_H2_R_PRIORITY - Priority 1

MAPPING_TAGFAHRL_H_L_FUNCTION - Value 0x06

If you also want to disable the orange signal light and only use rear lights for signal, complete the following. if you still want that ugly orange signal light to be in use.. Do NOT change the below values:
MAPPING_BLINKER_H_L_PWM_LEVEL_1 - 00
MAPPING_BLINKER_H_L_PWM_LEVEL_r - 00

someone with a f30 did it.

i tried to follow the steps but i noticed one difference


instead of TAGFAHRL_H2_L MINE reads TAGFAHRL_V_L.

Is mine showing a V because it’s a f36? instead of H2?

No, something doesn't match up.
F30 REM ECU files should be the same as a F36.

Search again.

thats what i thought too, but i couldnt find anything else...ill check again later after work.... how certain are you that the f30 and f36 REM ECU files are identical?

Cause I code them allot...
I own a F30 and I do have allot of customers with F36'ers etc.
F2x and F3x are identical as far as I know.

you were right i was checking the FEM instead of the REM

There are some differences between F30 and F32 REM values, at least on the LCI models. I ran into them when trying to code rear fog lights.

They are identical in the inside, for the functions etc.
Yet a F2x values are indeed different than a F3x.

i think LCI models are 17/18

Any idea on getting reverse lights working again using ista+, coding out the errors ? Using diagnostics in ista+ I can turn them on but when setting car in reverse no reverse lights.
