Identifying Connectors for Towbar / Trailer Hitch Retrofit
Hi all,
Hoping someone can help me identify some connectors that I'm looking for to create a wiring loom for the trailer hitch / towbar retrofit. I'm avoiding the retrofit cable kit as in the UK I can't find it for less than £250, which is a lot considering that's about double what I've spent on the actual automatic folding/pivoting/swiveling trailer hitch itself. Anyway, I'm looking for the 3 connectors that plug into the AHK - Trailer Control Module. Using the references in the Retrofit work instructions (EBA), I have identified the connectors on newtis.info, but there are no part numbers available. 24-pin connector: Reference: A255*1B NewTIS Info 6-pin connector: Reference: A255*2B NewTIS Info 10-pin connector: Reference: A255*3B and A255*4B NewTIS Info If anyone could help me identify any of those, that would be amazing! Thank you |

Trailer Harness Connector Info
Having the same fun as I am trying to make up a harness for my X3 G01.
I have managed to buy a second hand ECU with the connectors attached. At the moment I have struck out finding the male connector for the 8SL trailer prep socket as BMW lists no part number (though I found an alibaba.com supplier who will provide 100 as a min quantity). The female connector (part no 12527520151) is readily available. When I receive my ECU it I'll see if I can find some part numbers for the 6 and 10 pin connector. From a photo I have found a part no for the 24 PIN connector is 13847749 and is made by Delphi. The link below also has some info. https://forum.bmw5.co.uk/topic/12634...875018/?page=4 Link to specs for 24 pin connector https://ecat.aptiv.com/product/13847749 Last edited by gcbm; 09-30-2021 at 07:49 PM..
