E-SYS and ENET cable

I am buying new ENET cable, in seller description is writtent that ENET cable will work only with ESYS 3.22.5 and V49.4 data?

Isn't ENET cable just wires and one resistors, how can be limited to specific SW and data version? For example I have E-SYS 3.28.1.

How can I be sure that cable will work with my car, where to check that ?

Of course you're right and it's only wires and a resistor.
If it's an enet cable it will work with all versions.
