Like many of you, I purchased an X3MC this summer and it did not come with the carbon fiber engine strut. I learned that it was now available for purchase in selective markets. I have seen it as an option in Australia, Canada, and the UK but still not in the US market. I am waiting on my new X3MC now (read below) and read that DEC19 US productions come with the carbon strut but no one can confirm this from what I’ve read on many blogs and post.

However, I’ve found what I think is the best website for these carbon fiber additions. I figured I would share with the group and see if anyone else had any better website to shop. This is my first BMW so I am no expert.

A little history behind my vehicle. The one I purchased this summer was deemed a “lemon”. I ordered it in June and it arrived ~October. I drove it off the dealer lot and almost every single fault warning came on. The dealer immediately bought the vehicle back from me and ordered me another one. It will arrive ~February2020. It has nothing to do with the parts website. Just a separate discussion if anyone was interested.

On the X3M for the front bumper carbon factory additions you will need front lower trims 51.11.8.077.063 + 064 (£386.40 each) + front air duct trim& 51.11.8.077.061 + 062 (£321.75 each) + fittings.

Note that if you buy these that your bumper will not have the holes drilled from installation.
