Buyers beware. Seller is not accepting Paypal invoice. He's only accepting paypal friends and family or other cashapp payment.

Had same issue and was apprehensive to post a warning in case it was just me being stupid. I also found that their listing for brakes was not for an F32, and the images came from ebay.

However, I also found a lot of things that seemed to make them genuine. At the end of the day, someone with a car like this should not be worried about paypal holding their funds for 2 weeks, though.

He's having an absolute breakdown because he can't get anyone to give him money, although he makes 200k.

This is my first time buying things on a forum so I'm happy I second guessed the Family & Friends thing.

Seems like a fairly well thought out scam. He has posts on other sellers threads with a phone number, where if you google it, it comes back to a real estate guy in Cali, months ago.

Also I could not find any other images elsewhere; just the brakes.

Anyone that uses PayPal knows that instead of 'Friends and Family' you can simply pay the normal way & add 4% for the fees so Seller is still not out the fees, and Buyer has full protection

If he is refusing this option also, then there is a problem and I would stay far away

And I have been dealing with PP for 20 odd years now, never had to wait for money from Buyer. Always went into my PP account immediately, with max 2 bus days till it was transferred to my bank account. If he can't wait 2 days then too bad

I always give my Buyers the choice of either payment method - whichever they feel more comfortable with - and my Rep/iTrader rating is excellent so no worries

Same user contacted me about a WTB Rear Diff Tool I posted. Stated he had one and asking price, once I asked for pics of all included - never heard from him again. Think I'll just stay away from this one...

As always, buyers should think 2X about buying from a new member, with no feedback/rating, & no real posts other than stuff FS. Not saying there aren't honest people out there with this same scenario, but I tend to shy away just for peace of mind

Kinda funny also how as soon as members start posting with questions in each of his threads about things that are strange or incorrect with pics/description - all of a sudden he marks the post SOLD regardless of how many items listed and no real posts showing anyone buying any of the items...

Yeah man, I expressed interest in the intercooler and he caught me late at night and said other people were interested and I got first dibs. I was tired and about to go to bed so I wasn't 100% so I didn't check the thread to see the shadiness of this guy and just paid 265 and he said he shipped it but never sent a tracking number and isn't responding to my PMs.

Also, I should have checked in to the guy, let my mistake teach others to buyer beware.

1. Never do friends and family on paypal unless someone has a good buyer's rating, I didn't realize you can't file a dispute even if you use paypal credit. Shame on me.

2. If the price seems too good to be true, get more intel. If the person gets angry that you're trying to get more info on something you want to spend your hard earned money on, it should be a sign that something is fishy.

3. Check the paypal info. He sent me info and the paypal account is labeled as Sean Schlesinger. When he went silent I found him on linked in (picture matched his paypal profile) and called South Seas Yacht sales where Sean works, it clearly wasn't the seller or he at least seemed upset about the fraudulent use of his identity.

Hopefully this grandma's boy doesn't get anyone else's money on here.
