Overhead console blank button?

In my 2015 435i GC, what is the blank button on the right used for? Any interesting uses for this as a mod?

which button? they all look like they are being used. Are you talking about the one that lights up and says passenger air bag off?

There is the control lamp for the deactivated co-driver airbag.

Doh - you’re right, its the airbag off indicator. I feel like an idiot now!
