While I see the point of the video to compare the two... you have two vehicles with over 500 hp and you don't drag race them.... DA FUQ

Mercedes really screwed the pooch with the cargo space in the Glc 63 if you have dogs versus the X3MC! 40.6 cu ft in the Glc 63 non coupe versus 62.7 cu ft in the X3MC. The cargo space is pathetic in the Glc 63 if you need it daily but the engine sound is glorious .

MB's Infotainment system is very subpar in comparison to BMW. For MY2020 MB has updated it but I have not had a chance to check it out.

I test drove an GLC 63s. I spent an hour playing with the infotainment. BMW wins that hands down.

100% agree. They are revamping the GLC with the new tech in 2020 and updating the exterior to keep up!

Their verdict is the X3M is the sharper, more responsive drivers car the 63 better for thrills over the first 30mph from a stop light.

Looks like I made the right decision then, the mercs interior looks poor to my eyes as well.

I much prefer the higher tonal range of the S58 sound compared to the flat monotone blare from the AMG. Although to be fair neither has any real induction noise the AMG relying on a contrived exhaust note and the M on its ASD.

Here are the dyno curves for X4 MC vs GLC 63s coupe. GLCs torque curve looks very nice, with max torque already at 2500 rpms. The S58 has significantly more (40+) hp though. What this basically shows is that the Merc has the much nicer torque curve for daily driving and traffic light heroics. However, once you rev up your S58, it will outperform the Merc. The real problem of the 63s coupe, and the reason why i didn’t buy it, is the tiny trunk that makes even the M3 look like a perfect family car.
