From F80 to X3Mc. What's your opinions

I'm coming up on the end of my lease on my f80 and probably heading this direction. I have a manual 17 F80 comp with JB4 and intakes. Does this X3M legit feel fast and how's the ride and power delivery compared to an M3? Does anyone who made this transition miss their old car and slightly regret their decision?? I'm sure no ones going to say they regret their decision but you get my point. Thanks for your comments!!

I'd recommend it.

I've made same transition.

I miss the sound and pops from F80 CP but that's about it. Feels so much more refined although power delivery is different low down.

Got fed up constantly trying to get power down in F80, no issues with this 😀

I'm only 200miles in so not had it above 5k rpm

Also agree, loved my M4 but got bored with not being able to get the power down when I wanted, maybe when I think hard about it I miss how nimble the m4 is but love the practicality of the X3m and I wanted a more complete car... when you put your foot down over 1800 rpm the power is brutal and the 4x4 system is amazing you get all of the power all of the time.

I have zero regrets !!!

I didn't own an F80/F82, but have driven plenty...both on street and track

The power delivery is very different IMO. The F80/F82 is more violent in nature...the X3M is butter smooth and boost comes on differently. The X3M is definitely fast, its just different than the S55 F80...and I'd take it any day over an F80

Go drive test drive one if you haven't...

Getting more and more excited about it. Thanks for the input. Putting down power in my m3 sucks so I'm glad to hear it's much better in the X3M. The M3 is great if you live in a warm climate, but unless it's 60 degrees or above year round, it's really annoying trying to get the rear end to hook. Thanks again!!

Kept my M3 a 6MT. They are different as the X3 M is all wheel drive. But yes it's awfully fast, rides a bit better and makes me smile when I drive it.
