bimmerxenon fogs question

Ok, so I installed the Bimmerxenon fogs today. Right now, they have a very blueish look to them. I have not had the fog lights on for more than 2 minutes total now.

I dont remember where, but I hear that as they are used, they start to loose a little of the bluish tint, and become more white. Is it possilbe to 'break in' lights?

Sorry, Im usually pretty good with technical stuff... Just want to make sure this will work out for me...

I have the same lights

Ya, at first they are wayyy to blue, almost like aqua

But just give them a few days and drive with them on during the day and they should break in and give off a more white color

You guys don't get the error msgs? Can you give some details about your install, like if you had to put a relay or someone or was it a plug and play? I have 325i without iDrive.

Good. I was about to say I was rather dissapointed. I assumed it wasnt going to remain as blue as they were when I first installed them. It was so hideous I had to turn the fogs off

Ill have to take a drive tonight to see the difference. Im hoping it wont take too long for them to 'whiten' out....

Im going to play it out. They might be color matched, but I certailny dont think they are as bright as the stock was.

Where do you find those bulbs at Long? What specific bulbs would you suggest...

I just picked my car up from the dealership yesterday

One of the techs asked where I got the bulbs from because he said they were the highest quality he has ever seen

He really liked them and said he would order them for himself

The bulbs are great!

PIAA, Bimmerxenon, Luminics, Raybrig, etc.

they are all top notch premium bulb brands who makes quality bulbs.
you can't go wrong with any of them. There are always defects, but tons of
satisfied customers prove their reputation.

Just research through real life pictures of them bulbs, pick the color you like.
