Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric

Anybody running these tires? I am thinking about putting them on my new wheels 265/30/19 235/35/19 . The 265's are only like $242 on tire rack. Seems like a good deal.

Can't give you my 1st hand opinion, but they did tie for 1st in Tire Rack's survey results for Max Performance Summer tires.

I have them - I like them alot. I'm running 235/265 but on 18s. They are a great tire so far...only thing I didn't like about them is the tendency to flat spot earlier in the year when it was colder out.

They are a very good dry weather tire and the best wet weather tire I have had. I would recommend them for sure.

That survey is of the old F1, not the new F1 asymmetric....

I am running them on my car. I have 245/265 on 18s.

They are great! I put three days of track time on them recently and the grip is fantastic. They held up pretty well under extreme circumstances on the track. The only cars going quicker through the turns had dedicated track tires.

Street driving is MUCH improved over the stock Bridgestone. No more tramlining and the ride is much improved over the RFTs. It is a noticable difference in both cases. You won't be disappointed.

So far, very even wear and no other problems except they had to be rebalanced after a couple weeks of use. I guess they rounded out from use and the weight was redistributed.

All in all, I'm VERY pleased with the tires. Pretty good price and very good performance.

The F1 Asymmetric is an outstanding tire, among the best and comparable to the Michelin PS2 and Bridgestone RE050A Pole Position.

AW325xi, I just finished up my fourth day at the track with my Assymnetrics and the LF is literally falling apart. I have a Procede V3 and upgraded Dinan suspension and I am running the car very hard. Also, the LF is the tire that takes the largest beating at the track I go to, but it shouldn't be coming apart like this. I have keep the tire pressure at 40 lbs +/- 1 lb (hot) and there are only three 15 minutes sessions and one 30 minute session a day. I went into the dealer today and the Goodyear rep is supposed to be there tommorrow so I will see what he says. Anyone else have any problems with these?
