Window tint enforcement in VA

I found a place that will do 35 all around in Virginia - anybody have any experience with VA law dogs enforcing the tint laws? The tickets costs more than the tint job...

I am in Northern VA with 35 all around since Jan 06. No tickets as of yet. The 35 tint is barely noticeable. there are a lot of other cars around with much darker tint. I actually wish I had gone with 30% instead. You won't have a problem with 35.

I haven't heard of anyone that has gotten a ticket for too dark of tint. I guess it just depends on which part you're from. I would assume that it would be more strict in the NoVa area. I have 35% all around and wish I had gone with 20%. But you should be fine with 35 all around.

As it is the law dictates 50% Front, 35% rear and 35% back windows...I've been thinking a car with 35% all round and a car with 50/35/35 won't look much different from one another...fwiw I plan to do 35 all round, as well

Where are you doing your tints?

LA Tint in Manassas - they offer the Pinnacle series non-metallic tint. Good stuff...

I know getting your tint done in NoVa is pretty expensive, around $300 or so. My cousin who lives in the Fairfax area came down here just to get his tints done. I got lifetime warranty and am very satisfied with the way it looks. Only cost $160. I could give you guys the number if you'd like.
