i started the car this morning and had the red symbol come up saying i got a flat...the tires looks fine to me (runflats) but didnt risk it and took the other car to work...could it be a malfunction or is it really flat?

I almost hate to say it, but why not check the tire pressure with a tire pressure gauge? That 's likely to be more accurate than what anyone here might have to say....
