Hello BMW Experts!

I used to have Esys working, and I did some pretty cool stuff, but now I can't get it to start.

I think I have the right parts:
W10 1903
Esys 3.27.1
Esys Launcher Premium 2.8.0.143
Esys launcher Pro 2.8.1.155

Do I have to erase the old Esys, then reload my computer?
Do I need a token, PIN, or correction script?
Etc....

I need an "Esys Installation & Startup for Idiots" page, if it exists.

Launcher Premium doesn‘t work anymore.
Launcher Pro 2.8.1 also no good idea.
You should deinstall both.
E-sys 3.27.1 you can keep.
Here you can get Launcher Pro 2.8.2 and the current psdzdata Lite.

With this combination you should be able to code again.

You need to also set the system date back to second half of 2018.

Not necessary with Launcher Pro 2.8.2

I didn't set the date back, but in Esys, when I hit the connect button it asks for a token, but then says mine token is invalid.

I get that error and I uninstall and re-install launcher and re-setup everything and then it works.
I do not use 2.8.2, I use an older version which needs system date reversion. If you do as well, then check this out: (E-Sys Launcher Premium Rearm 2.0.4.zip)

Maybe I'm not loading in the right order. Or not loading into, or pointing to the right folder?

OK, and you also use the special Token from the Downloadpage (BFU_XODE.est)?

Yes, I'm using that token.

-Install EsysLauncherPro, using default on top, but aiming at token (BFU_XODE.est), using 4 position PIN (2002).

I then get the "invalid token" message.

Try the Pin: 12345678

Hi Folks,

I used PIN 12345678, and got a screen asking for an activation code. A "request activation code" button on this screen sends me to Gmail, to request a code from Tokenmaster.

Hey, I got into Esys! And it really wasn't too hard if you trust the "TokenMaster's Random Ramblings" page for the token, PIN, & weird activation code.

Yes yes.
The activation code is the big long letter combination starting with B1G_F*
