Winter wheels and tires set up

Hi everyone,

I came across an ad of someone selling a set of winter rims and tires. Here is the picture:

so far the only thing I know about these are:

255/40/18 (all around)
Pirello Sottozero
Used on the 2016 M3

My question is will these fit on the OG M2 (not M2C)? If they were on the M3 it should fit, right? I have asked the seller for the offset he said he would get back to me but he has not yet.

Thank you!

If they fit the F80 M3, then they should fit the M2 (assuming the wheels are not wider than 10").

So basically 18x10 all around (front and rear) is the max for the wheels in order for it to fit on the M2 in this case?

Yes but a 10" wide rim for front is unlikely given that this is a winter set. If the front is a 10" wide rim, you will need spacers and/or camber plates to fit it.

Since the set fit on the M3, the wheels will clear the brakes so no issues there.

You can ask the seller to take a picture of the back face of the wheel. Width and offset will be marked on the rim.

Just based on appearance I don't think there's any way those wheels could be 10" wide. The tires actually look a little wide for the wheels. Should still get the wheel stats for good measure.

Its 18x8 offset 25 all around, this should work on OG M2 right?

If this fitment worked on an F8x M3/4 then you will be fine.

There are F87 folk on here running 18" x 8" et 20mm oem style 270m winters - std option for e92 - w/o issue.
