debating two different deals

Hey all, sort of a leasing noobie, so please be gentle. Here are the 2 deals I've just started working:

MSRP $124,995 (m5 comp)
36 mo, 10k miles
Purchase option $74,997
$1681.89 down money
$1,378 monthly payment
includes $4500 rebate

How does this look?

2nd deal...non-comp

MSRP $118,595
rebate 4500
total savings + rebate $12,095
selling price $106,500
36 month / 10k mile
$8,000 down, $1152 a month

2nd deal doesn't look attractive at all.

The comp appears to be a much better deal up front money wise. Name of the game on leases is to put as little money down as possible. You never know if this car gets totaled or stolen you just lost all that down payment. Now if its was $1152 with $1681 down on non-comp that would be a heck of a deal.

Reworked the numbers and pushed a little, I think I'm getting closer to a pretty good deal.

I'm getting closer.

MSRP $118,595
Selling price $102,359 (about 13.7% off)
$1719.28 due at signing
$1280/month
36 month / 10k miles

PM'ed you the details, but for that vehicle you're supposed to aim for $1099-1150 PA Taxes included only first months payment and dmv fees paid at signing

Tomorrow is the day! I could probably have shopped, saved a little. But I have a good sales advisor that I like. Ideally would have got to $1150, but I’ll settle for $1200.

Wow, these lease monthly payments have really come down. It happens with every new M5, if you can wait you get a great deal.

Well, put a deposit down. My dealer sent 2 drivers to bring in it. They drove 5 hours to get it...arrived and were told the other dealer sold it. Right out from under me...

Scumbags. Now i'm back to square one. So pissed.

That sucks man! Make your dealer stand behind their deal and make them find you another car!!

i believe it wasn't their fault. after all, they sent 2 drivers, 10 hours of time each with the intent of picking up a car.

they did work hard/quick to find me another one, sending a driver tomorrow to pick it up. so hopefully this was all just a small snag.

the replacement was slightly higher msrp, so i worked with them (although i did give a little too much). i'm still about 1250ish a month, so i'm happy.
