Remote Software Upgrade
My app is showing that no remote software upgrades are available, but its showing on the car as 11/2018.65...so the original software?
How do I initiate it as I am clearly doing something wrong Last edited by concept; 10-15-2019 at 07:17 AM.. Reason: software version |

As of now, remote software upgrade doesn't seem to be working for anyone. To get your car updated you will have to go to the dealer.

Book it in with whoever is nearest. Tell them you have multiple CarPlay and/or iDrive reliability issues and want the latest software applied as you have heard it fixes those issues. On that old i-step version you must have some issues? |

I know it doesn’t need to go in to supplying dealer, but as it was something I requested before handover, its disappointing I now have to mess about. I’m assuming it’s not a 2 minute, pop in and have a coffee job? |

Correct. Seems to take at least a couple hours, some say overnight. My dealer updated mine in about 3 hours.
