turbo questions
can you have a twin scroll turbo without a divided inlet? I bought a 6266 CEA and it says it's a t4 tangential, does that mean it's not twin scroll?

But I'm fairly sure that the word 'divided' should appear if 'twin-scroll' is intended by the manufacturer. I believe that 'tangential' is irrelevant to the issue of 'divided' i.e. you could have tangential (which is about housing offset) divided or non-divided. That said, I've never worked with a big single and don't have first hand knowledge. Hopefully a more experienced poster will chime in |
