My BMW Connected remote functions don't work

Not a new topic but I had one week of remote functions working (lock/unlock/remote start) and now its three weeks not working at all no matter where my car is. I can see the status of my car so I know it is communicating but commands don’t make it.

After calling the support like I am told to have the dealer fix it as their tech support ticket lead time is 30 days.....I mean seriously

This is one of the reasons I was fed up with my 16 m235i and going back and fourth between dealer and this terrible service.

Anyone else had any luck with a path to fix beyond logging out uninstalling and logging back in again? Also did the update services thing in the car to no avail.

Mine was working fine for the past month but as of the past 2 days any actions sent to the vehicle fail so I'm assuming it's a server side issue.

I'm having the exact same issue and i was also told I needed to take it to a dealer.
Now my car has been sitting at the dealer for over a week and it doesn't seem they have a clear solution.

It is pretty pathetic, mine worked well the first week, then stopped working for two weeks. I sent an email to customer support, and tried all suggested steps, login in/out, delete app, etc.. Few days later it started working again on its own. Customer support replied a week later saying service is down, but by then mine was working again. I think this is their generic response.

There is a firm out of NJ bringing a class action lawsuit around this - citing failure to maintain service for goods paid within a reasonable timeframe, repeatedly

Same problem here (Europe)

My Connected App's car data (like fuel level, total range) didn't refresh since 03.10 (8 days) ago..
I also tried logoff-logon several times w/o success.
Sending any remote command failed also...
The situation is the same with attempts from the web browser too (with different internet providers)

Remote 3D view works about 1/2 the time and currently voice commands don't work but all else works. This would be my biggest or most disappointing issue with the car. The h is great but far too glitchy for money paid for car

I've made three iDrive reboots by the long pressing mute button and now it's working again for me after 8 days down.

Good. I was debating bringing mine in for 5 fixes and forcing them to buy back under our local lemon law. Only way to get bmw to spend money is if they are avoiding losing more money.
