V10 or supercharged v8?

If you had the option, would you prefer a car with a v10 or supercharged v8?

why?

I would take either one......whatever made the most torque down low. I'm guessing a supercharged V8 would be stronger than a N/A V10.

I think it's fairly straightforward, V8s are badass

V10, but only because of the wonderful noises. Supercharged V8 would likely be a better performer though, but when you're in that league, you're likely putting up serious numbers either way.

I lean V10 just because of how rare they are. I'm sure there are more supercharged V8s than V10s on the road today, anyone with a few thousand dollars can supercharge their Silverado.

First of all, off-topic.

Second, V10 naturally aspirated.

First of all, stupid topic.

Second, neither is "better." They are different tools for different jobs. Thus the shampoo/conditioner analogy. Which apparently needs to be explained to the dimmer folks among us.
Thanks to the gentleman who pointed out 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner. Which, as anyone with long hair can tell you, does not work. A pearl of wisdom to the people thinking there's an engine - or any other tool - that "does it all."

How about instead of talking about hair, you explain why you think a v10 or sv8 in a roadcar are tools for different jobs.

You know this is the E90 forum, right?
I forget - which models of E90 come with V10s & supercharged V8s?

Finally, an intelligent question.

Obviously, you have short hair. As such, you have no need of conditioner. Once hair gets long, however, especially blonde or fine hair, it gets horrible snagged and tangled, impossible to brush, and starts breaking. Many years ago, women used oil, bear fat, and all manner of horrible substances to manage this problem. Awful.
Enter conditioner. This miraculous substance quickly and easily renders hair soft, smooth, strong, and manageable without oiliness.
But conditioner does not CLEAN hair. For that you need shampoo. Different jobs, different tools.

Ahh okay.

But then, why not just clean their hair? On second thought tho I think my shampoo is maybe a 2in1 thing.

All depends on power delivery and the style of driving the driver does. Also depends on the transmission it is mated to. Both are good in their own ways

OP didn't ask which was better, he asked which you prefer.

To keep it on topic, if I were to swap a S85 or supercharged S65 into my car then I would go with the S85. The sound is so glorious at high RPMs.
